What You'll Do
General Ledger & Month-End Close
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Assist with the preparation of internal financial statements and reports
Support the budgeting and forecasting process with timely data and variance analysis
Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting tools and templates
Accounts Reconciliation & Accuracy
Maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reviews
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
Process Improvement & Compliance
Maintain internal controls and ensure accounting practices are compliant with GAAP
Assist in identifying and implementing process efficiencies
Stay current on changes in accounting standards and industry best practices
Cross-Functional Support
Collaborate with AP, AR, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial data
Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and external partners in a timely, professional manner
Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of GL accounting experience
Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, SAP)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus
Experience in Real Estate or Property Management accounting

Competitive salary based on experience (typically $60,000-$80,000 range)
